Lacey Higgins

I graduated from Maryville University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and again in 2006 with my Master’s in Physical Therapy. I chose to work in Physical Therapy because I'm passionate about helping others recover from injury, illness and improving their quality of life.
As Program Director of Home Health, I work closely with our Clinical Manager to facilitate teamwork between the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy clinicians with the Nursing staff to ensure quality care, team collaboration, and case management.
I have 12 years’ experience in Outpatient Physical Therapy with an emphasis in manual therapy, sports therapy, and orthopedic surgical rehabilitation. I chose to work in Home Health because I'm able to spend more on-on-one time with the Senior population during their treatment sessions in order to provide quality care for them to be able to maintain their independence in their everyday life and assist with helping them age in place.
Whenever I'm not working you can find me reading, crocheting, hunting, and spending time with my family. My husband, Chris, and I have two sons, Brody and Kellan. They are very active and passionate about sports, music, and hunting.
