I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I started my career as a healthcare professional in 1997 as a Certified Nurse Assistant. I found my passion for caring for others and furthered my career with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science from Florissant Valley Community College in 2006. As a registered nurse (RN), I have cared for young adults and the older adult senior population in the areas of critical care, wound care, cardiac disease management and infusion services in the hospital, post-acute and in-home settings. My experience in the healthcare industry has provided me with new areas of personal interest.

As a founding clinician of the first grant funded Transitional Care Program in the VA healthcare system for Congestive Heart Failure, I worked closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop policies, protocols and best practice standards to improve patient health and reduce the risk of rehospitalization. I am thankful for the opportunities to advance my knowledge and experience in clinical management, healthcare operations and leadership. In 2016, I joined Envision Health Partners as an owner and lead field staff team member. I now serve our patients in the role of Clinical Manager for Envision Home Health.

What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to work closely with the field clinicians in providing the best care and outcomes for our patients and their caregivers, and working in the home setting to ensure they are comfortable, safe and well educated. As our older adults’ transition to an aging in place platform, what I find most rewarding is the privilege to empower independence and provide services to support long term success.
